Patti Ferraro has been a valued board member of With Hope, the Amber Craig Memorial Foundation, since its founding in 2005.  As a close friend to Annette and her family, Patti had a strong desire to serve and assist in fulfilling the mission of suicide prevention.

As a retired teacher of 33 years, Patti’s dedication to instruction and her genuine care and concern for teens made Patti a natural choice for our Director of Speaking.  She is a strong leader and trainer. Patti educates, equips, and empowers teens in the classroom through our school-based presentations providing powerful multi-media and resource materials on suicide prevention. Additionally, she speaks at staff meetings, parent presentations, fundraising and other foundation events.

During a presentation, Patti discusses the facts about suicide, its risk factors and warning signs, and provides information to individuals about how to seek help. She has witnessed many young people come forward to ask for help and is proud to be a part of this life-saving team. Patti is safeTALK, and ASIST* trained.

Patti lives in North Carolina and has two adult children, and one grandchild.
