Ken Schemmer is the Director of Bereavement Support and Friends With Hope Lead Facilitator. Ken was instrumental in helping to start the Suicide Bereavement Support Group 17 years ago, which provides weekly support and resources to those grieving the loss of a loved one to suicide. He is a valued member of With Hope Foundation’s Board of Directors. He brings real-life experience in crisis intervention and grief recovery, having lost his 17-year-old daughter, Abbey, to brain cancer in 2016.


He holds a Doctorate of Ministry in Leadership Degree. He lives in Anaheim Hills, CA
with his wife, Pam, of 29 years, and his two adult sons and a daughter-in-law.

With Hope, the Amber Craig Memorial Foundation is dedicated to suicide prevention through mental health awareness and education in our schools and throughout our communities.
