GWEN HIRSCH
Friends with Hope Facilitator
With Hope, the Amber Craig Memorial Foundation

Gwen has been a part of the With Hope Foundation since 2019, shortly after her son, Patrick, lost his life to suicide. She first connected to With Hope Foundation as a survivor of suicide loss, participating in the biweekly bereavement support group. Today, she is a facilitator helping others navigate the difficult journey of suicide loss and changing the stigma towards mental health. "Helping others has brought a purpose to the pain incurred from my son's death." In addition to her service to the With Hope Foundation, she has been actively involved in Al-Anon for nearly 20 years. She is a Deacon at her church and is passionate about her role as a 4th grade Sunday School Teacher. She lives in Tustin with her husband of 25 years and loves the time she is able to spend with her great nieces, Macy and Addy.
With Hope, the Amber Craig Memorial Foundation is dedicated to suicide prevention through mental health awareness and education in our schools and throughout our communities.
