Johnathan Smith has a call to help people and families in need. Johnathan has been a part of the With
Hope Foundation family after losing his 18-year-old daughter to suicide in 2019, who was also a special
needs child. Johnathan is a retired law enforcement officer and served as a Special Agent with US
Department of Treasury for 28 and ½ years, in which 11 years was served in the capacity of management
and leadership in which he helped facilitate the training and development of personnel. After the loss of
his daughter, Johnathan helped to initiate and institute mental health and awareness training for his team
members. Currently, Johnathan is a volunteer faciltator for our Friends With Hope Suicide Bereavement SupportGroup and looks to spread awareness and grief support to individuals and families in need.

John lives in Norco, CA,  with his wife, MXia and has an adult daughter.

With Hope, the Amber Craig Memorial Foundation is dedicated to suicide prevention through mental health awareness and education in our schools and throughout our communities.
