Debbie Koch serves as a dedicated Grant Writer for With Hope, the Amber Craig Memorial Foundation, bringing strong communication skills and a deep personal connection to the organization’s mission of preventing teen suicide through education, crisis intervention, and bereavement support in schools and communities.
Her commitment to With Hope is rooted in profound loss. Debbie was close to Amber, whose death by suicide forever changed her life and the lives of her family. That heartbreak has fueled her determination to secure essential funding needed to support the foundation’s life-saving programs.
Debbie approaches every grant submission not simply as a request for funding, but as an act of remembrance and purpose. Each proposal is an opportunity to honor Amber’s memory and to help bring prevention, hope, and healing to young people, families, and communities across the region.
Debbie and her husband, Steve, live in Northern California, and she has two adult children and four grandchildren.

With Hope, the Amber Craig Memorial Foundation is dedicated to suicide prevention through mental health awareness and education in our schools and throughout our communities.
