Suzette is a therapist that specializes in working with issues of depression and grieving. Her therapy focuses on working with family survivors of suicide, unexpected and traumatic death, and the passing away of a loved one.

Director of Bereavement Support
Ken Schemmer is the Director of Bereavement Support and Friends With Hope Lead Facilitator. Ken was instrumental in helping to start the Suicide Bereavement Support Group, 16 years ago, that provides weekly support and resources to those grieving the loss of a loved one to suicide.

Debbie Grayston lost her 29-year-old son to suicide in 2013. She brings her personal story to our Friends With Hope Suicide Bereavement Support Group with compassion and care in order to help others navigate their loss and grief journey.

Cristal lost her mom to suicide in 2002 and her sister in July 2023. She is a Certified Yoga Therapist who finds yogic tools valuable in her own healing and has a passion in using them to help others. In addition to being a passionate yoga instructor, she is also a top-producing Realtor® in Fullerton. She regularly leads a donation-based, community practice at the
Muckenthaler Cultural Center in Fullerton, private sessions, and various special events
around Orange County.
