With Hope’s 4th Annual Golf Tournament, "Golfing With Hope," held on Monday, March 2, 2009, was a great success. Ninety golfers teed off at Alta Vista Country Club in Placentia after enjoying a welcome BBQ. We were joined by Orange Lutheran High School Counselor, Pam Ayers, who shared life saving on the impact With Hope's educational presentations have had on their students over the past four years. It was a fantastic end to a successful day with an Italian dinner banquet buffet and raffle prize give-a-ways.
Thanks to the participation and support of our golfers and sponsors we raised over $11,000.00 (for teen suicide prevention and depression awareness presentations for our school based programs.) Thank you to all of you who participated in the tournament and to all of the volunteers who helped make the day such a success.
We HOPE to see you back “In the Cart” for next year’s tournament.
