Over $9,000 raised at 2nd Annual Row-A-Thon

2nd Annual Row-A-Thon Raises over $9,000 for Suicide Prevention

On September 15, 2018, to culminate the last day of National Suicide Prevention Week, we had 55 participants row a marathon for suicide prevention at our 2nd Annual Row With Hope Row-A-Thon. Thank you to Andrew Arredondo, owner of Full Intensity Training in Brea, for hosting this event with their members and Tatiana Lassance, owner of Fit Body Boot Camp in Yorba Linda, who we welcomed this year along with their 30 participants.

Six teams ranging from 8-10 rowers collectively rowed 26.2 miles each. Our winning team from FIT finished in 2 hours 41 minutes. Rounding out the row at 3 hours and 42 minutes was the Fit Body Forever team, whose participants were 60 years and older, with two lady participants age 71. It was an amazing day of athleticism, friendship and awareness.  We raised over $9000 for suicide prevention through registration, sponsorships, donations and raffle.
